1. Data controller

The data controller for acrocoaches.org and community.acrocoaches.org is the AcroCoaches initiative. For any privacy-related request, contact: privacy@acrocoaches.org.

2. What data we collect

Visiting this website: standard technical web-server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp), kept for security purposes.
Joining the community: when you register on community.acrocoaches.org we ask for your name, email address, username, country and information about your coaching background. You provide this data voluntarily to create your membership.
Participating in the forum: the posts, topics and messages you choose to publish.

3. Why we process it (legal basis)

To create and manage your membership in the coaches community — performance of your membership request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To send you service emails (account confirmation, password reset, notifications you enable) — performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not profile you.

4. Where your data is stored

All data is stored on our own server located in the European Union. Transactional emails (account confirmation, notifications) are delivered through an email service provider acting as data processor on our behalf.

5. How long we keep it

Server logs: up to 12 months.
Membership data and forum content: for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time; your personal data is then removed or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, export and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. The community platform lets you download all data linked to your account and delete your account yourself; for anything else, write to privacy@acrocoaches.org.

7. Cookies

This website (acrocoaches.org) sets no cookies at all — no analytics, no trackers, no third-party embeds. Fonts are served from our own server.

The community platform (community.acrocoaches.org) uses only strictly necessary technical cookies: a session cookie and an authentication cookie that keep you logged in. These do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, as they are essential for providing the service you request. No advertising or profiling cookies are used.

8. Changes to this policy

If we introduce new features (for example webinars or payments), this policy will be updated before any new category of data is processed, and the "last updated" date above will change.
